DAVENPORT, Iowa -- Asked during a campaign stop here which team she supported in the upcoming Super Bowl, Sen. Hillary Rorschach Clinton wasted no time expressing her preference for "that team from Chicago, of which I am a huge fan."
"You know, I was born in Chicago, and I consider myself a Midwesterner at heart, as do all of you, I know," Clinton said. "As a corn-fed Midwestern girl from the heartland, I've been nothing if not a lifelong fan of that professional football team that plays in the Windy City. I was a lifelong fan of that team even before I was a lifelong New York Yankees fan, and before that a lifelong Washington Wizards fan, and before that a lifelong Arkansas Razorbacks fan."
Asked to name her favorite Bear, Clinton replied, "The Panda. It's so cute!"
